Sucuraj is situated on the east cape of the island Hvar (Central Dalmatia – Croatia), 3 NM (5 km) from the Dalmatian coast and 80 km from the town of Hvar.
The easiest way to come to Sucuraj is by ferryboat from Drvenik on the Makarska Riviera. Drvenik is situated on the Adriatic touristy road 80 km southeast from Split and 128 km northwest from Dubrovnik. The Ferryboat sails 30 minutes between Drvenik and Sucuraj. In the wintertime there are 3-4 departures a day, and in summer time 10-15 times. When you get out of the Ferryboat you are already in Sucuraj. The Ferry-doc is near the centre of the town. Apartment is 120 metres from Fery-doc, in the centre of the town.
It is possible to come by Ferryboat from Split to Stari Grad then by island road to Sucuraj. This way is a lot longer, more expensive and a strain to most drivers.
If you are already on the island you just take the island road east. We are 77 km from Hvar, 60 km from Stari Grad and 50 km from Jelsa.
Note: For guests coming to Sucuraj by car we recommend to fill up their fuel tank on the Makarska Riviera. The first fuel station on island is 50 km away.
You are going to be welcome by Tomislav or Zdravka, straight away on exit from ferryboat.
It is very important, that before board on ferryboat You call Tomislav or Zdravka on cell-phone
00 385 91 539 70 59 or 00 385 91 250 64 96, so that we can know when are You arriving, with which car, so that we can easier recognize You.
